My goodness, this was just so beautiful, heartfelt and real. Just 100+ New Yorkers telling their stories, dancing, celebrating life, and honoring a moment in time together. Unique, original, powerful. I was really moved by this experience, it felt like I was a part of something special and important. Public Works shows are normally Shakespeare adaptations, and they have moved in a very different, modern and fresh direction with this one. The Public Works program partners with community organizations from all over the City to involve non-professional performers and every day people.
